For a start, you can try to wash your body with salicylic-acid based soap or shower foam. You might want to apply some medication on the affected area with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. Then, an alpha hydroxyl acid-based body moisturizer to keep your skin moisturized.

Topical antibiotic of medication for body acne such as erythromycin, clindamycin, Stiemycin or tetracycline can kill the bacteria that block folicles on your skin. Combination of oral antibiotics with tetracycline or tetrscycline can fight acne effectively. However, topical medication is not really the perfect solution to body acnes as some skin might get irritated by topical medications.

Phototherapy is a good alternative acne treatment to patients that are sensitive to topical medications. Sun exposure is known to be beneficial in up to 70 % of patients with body acne. With phototherapy, visible light in the blue range induces a photo-destructive effect on Propionibacterium acnes.
